Vision Lampasas reminds that it’s time to start readying your entry to the Lampasas County Museum’s Christmas Tree and Gingerbread house contest’s. The theme this year is “A Barnyard Christmas.”


The contest climaxes on December 1st from 10am to 7pm with the official showing, and public judging of the entries at the Museum during the Carol of Lights Festival. The tree entries must come in on the Saturday after Thanksgiving from 10am to 4pm or on Monday, Nov. 26 from 4 to 6pm.

The Gingerbread House entries are to come in from 4 to 6pm on Thursday, Nov. 29th. There are categories for several age groups.

It is the holiday season, and Perception Creative Art School is gearing up to do Christmas Window Painting for local businesses around town before the Carol of Lights Festival and Parade.
They report needing both little hands and big hands to volunteer and help paint windows on Nov. 17th and 18th.

On Thursday, the Lometa ISD Board will meet at 6:30pm in the school library to recognize student accomplishments and discuss the results of the recent audit. They may also cancel a contract with Solar Centex.
