The Blotter

Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Friday showed no problems in the early morning but there was a theft report in the 800 block of S. Chestnut at 9:03am. There was a criminal trespass incident in the 800 block of N. Ridge at 11:19am.

The noon hour saw a theft report in the 300 block of E. 4th at 12:14, A suspicious activity report in the 1200 block of E. Ave F at 12:33 and a suspicious person in the 200 block of N. Key at 10:13pm.  There were no accidents nor arrests.

 

The Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa pretty quiet Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa with a traffic stop.  Kempner responded to civil matters,  a fraud report, a repossession and cleared a wreck.

Out in the county deputies handled animal and livestock problems, a fish & game call and traffic stops. They were also called out to a suspicious activity call in the late evening, an alcohol offense and a traffic hazard.  Inside the Copperas Cove city limits officers responded to an alarm call.

The jail log shows a 44 yr. old Lampasas man detained on a commitment charge, and  a 32 yr old Lampasas man on a probation violation. William Heck, 21, of  Houston was arrested at 6:13pm for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, possession of  a controlled substance PG 3 less than 28 grams, possession of a controlled substance PG 1 less than 1 gram, and possession of a controlled substance PG 2, 1-4 grams.

The Burn Ban is lifted until Sunday at 7pm.
