As of Wednesday closing at the Elections Office, the day’s total Early Voting was 211 in person and 8 mailed in ballots. That was the lowest number of early voters yet, as evidently the number of voters planning to cast early votes has dwindled. The total Early Vote at Lampasas Elections Office is now 4,470.
There are roughly 13,000 registered voters in Lampasas County, so already about 34.4% of them have voted. That would be a good number for any total Election. By next Tuesday, when it’s over, we may have a record turnout.
Today and tomorrow are the last two days of Early Voting at the Elections Office on Pecan Street in the County Annex. It will be open from 8am to 5pm both days.
Regular Election Day is next Tuesday, November 6th. On that day, the five locations for voting in the county will be open from 7am to 7pm, and you can vote in any of those places, no matter where you live in the county.
