Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Friday showed a quiet early morning. There was a suspicious activity report on Chris James at 10:05am and a fraud report on Snell Dr. at 10:47am. There was a minor accident in the 2700 block of Hwy 281S at 11:43am.
The afternoon brought a disturbance report in the 100 block of Ohnmeiss at 12:59pm. There was a reckless driver report from Hwy 183N at 2:40pm and a harassment report in the 300 block of E. 4th at 3:22pm and fraud reported at 6:11pm in the 200 block of E. 6th. At 6:15pm there was an assault report in the 1000 block of FM 580.
A suspicious person report in the 400 block of N. Broad at 7:20pm came in, along with another such report from the 1200 block of S. Western at 10:37pm.
The Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa with a quiet day with a trespassing call and an accident. Kempner was busy with extra patrols, welfare checks and livestock issues. There was a fish& game call and citizens assists in Copperas Cove. Out in the county there was a medical call and a trespassing complaint.
The Jail Log shows a 33 yr old Copperas Cove woman brought in for a bond surrender, and a 28 yr old Lampasas resident detained for driving with a suspended license with previous convictions.
The Burn Ban is lifted until Monday at 7pm.
