Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Thursday shows minor accidents during the morning drive time. At 8:18am there was a crash in the 800 block of S. Key with no injuries, then few minutes later, down the street at S. Key and 3rd, there was a second accident. There were no injuries in either accident.
Suspicious activity was reported in the 800 block of N. Ridge at 9:37am. In the afternoon at 1:52pm police received a report of child endangerment from the 100 block of W. 1st.
An arrest was made at 4:02pm. 39 yr old Joshua J. Tryon of Lampasas was arrested in the 2700 block of E. Hwy 190 on Lampasas PD warrants on 3 counts of forgery. A suspicious person was reported in the 900 block of Casbeer at 6:33pm.
Another arrest took place at 7:46pm. A 27 yr old San Antonio man was arrested in the 1300 block of CTE for possession of a PG1 controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on a Bexar Co. warrant for DWI.
The last incident on the log was a suspicious person report in the 200 block of N. Park at 9:55pm.
Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa had a prowler report and some livestock issues. Kempner officers worked a civil matter, an alarm and a disturbance. Out in the county, deputies had a trespassing call, livestock issues, and were sent into Cove city limits to work a theft case.
The Burn Ban in Lampasas Co. is lifted until Monday at 7pm.
