Badger Football  

The opponent this week is Canyon Lake’s Hawks:

The 9th/JV teams will host Canyon Lake on Thursday in Badger Stadium with the 9th at 5:30 and JV at 7pm.

The Varsity team will travel to Canyon Lake for the showdown on Friday at 7:30pm. Here’s the way it stands in district:

Liberty Hill(3-0)                                                                                  Canyon Lake (2-1)  tied with Lampasas (2-1)                                               

Taylor (1-2) tied with Fredericksburg (1-2)

Burnet (0-3)

 

Basketball

Lady Badger Basketball had a good workout in the scrimmages on Tuesday.

The Lady Badger teams will be back in Badger Gyms on Saturday morning for their first game, against East View, with JV at 10am , 9A at 10:30am, 9B at 11:30am, and Varsity at noon.

Badger Basketball will scrimmage their JV and Varsity teams in Badger Gym on Saturday at 2pm. Word from Coach Aaron Nuckles shows the Marble Falls JV and Varsity team will join Lampasas JV and Varsity and Ingram Varsity for the afternoon scrimmages. The Lampasas Varsity and Marble Falls Varsity team will go at it first in the main gym with a 15 minute running clock.  while the Marble Falls JV and Ingram will play in the back gym. Next up will be the Lampasas JV and Marble Falls JV in the main gym and Marble Falls Varsity vs Ingram in the back gym.

After a 10 minute break Lampasas JV will face Ingram in the main gym.

Later in the Main Gym with a live 8 minute quarter it will be the Marble Falls Varsity vs Lampasas Varsity, then Ingram vs Marble Falls Varsity, then Lampasas Varsity vs Ingram.

LMS Sports

LMS Football will host Cameron on Thursday at Lampasas High School Field with games starting at 4:30pm.

Middle School Volleyball’s last game results show the 8A Lady Badgers ending their season on a high note, beating Llano in straight sets. The 8B team also had high hopes with a first game win but fell in the second and third to allow Llano the win.

The 7B won in two straight sets with Kailyn Cisneros serving 5 straight points followed by Mikayla Winter with 3 straight points to win the first game. In the second the team never let up and posted a 25-15 win. The 7A girls came out shaky at first and lost the first set, but came back strong and won the next two to win the match.   Congratulations to the MS for a great season!
