The Blotter

Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Saturday showed some reckless driver reports on Hwy 281 N. and in the 200 block of S. Summer, then an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle report at 11:48am. There was a disturbance in the 200 block of N. Key at 11:49am.

The afternoon brought a criminal trespass report from the 900 block of N. Key at 4pm and a burglary of a vehicle report in the 500 block of Brook St. at 4:20pm.

At 6:47pm a criminal trespass report came from the 700 block of S. Key and a disturbance report came from the 200 block of N. Key at 7:40pm. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 900 block of S. Key at 11:35pm.

Sunday’s Blotter showed a disturbance report on Hillcrest at 2:34am, then a suspicious vehicle report in the 800 block of S. Key at 4:50am. At 11:40am there was a reckless driver report in the 800 block of N. Key at 11:40am and finally, a suspicious person report in the 400 block of E. 4th at 11:50am.

At 3:04pm a 35 yr old Harker Heights man was arrested in the 500 block of S. Key for DWI, 3rd or more, and for driving with an invalid license.

Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa remained quiet. Kempner was sent out on a sex offense, noise complaint and worked a civil matter.

County deputies worked an identity theft case, an animal complaint and were sent out to Cove to settle a disturbance and some livestock issues.

The jail log shows a 38 yr. old  Buckholtz man brought in for possession of a controlled substance.


The Burn Ban was lifted again. This lift will go until Sunday, Nov. 4th, when it will back in effect at 6pm.
