The Colorado River at Bend seemed to have peaked at about 23ft and 39, 287cfs at 2pm Tuesday, but by late last night another big rise began and has taken the river to 25.89ft and 51,739cfs as of 7:30 this morning. That overnight rise seems to have been floodwater coming from far upstream as the rain system that hit our area moved northward to the river’s headwaters.
