Big Problems for the area are:

Potential flooding of low water crossings and hydroplaning cars and trucks on highways.

An accident took place this morning about a mile and a half out Hwy 183 N. The Lampasas FD got the call at 8:47am.  A  car had hydroplaned and crashed.

Firemen have also been notified of problems with the Lampasas city low water crossings on Hackberry and Willis Streets. Another one we watch with caution is at Sulphur Creek on the Naruna Rd. by the golf course.

There are a number of crossings out in the county with high water across the roadways. As of 11am this morning, problems still existed on CR 3420, CR 3100 and CR 2200. Please be careful driving on those roadways and if your need to travel at a spot beyond those crossings, please detour around them.
