Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Saturday showed early morning reports of a suspicious person reports. Reports came from the 200 block of W. Ave. A at 2:13am and the 800 block of N. Key at 4:58am.

The same kind of report came from Brook Park at 11;32am and again in the 200 block of N. Key at 12:22pm. There was a harassment case in the 600 block of Northington at 2:54pm.

The evening brought a 9:33pm burglary of a motor vehicle in the 200 block of E. Ave D and a suspicious vehicle on Lively Lane at 10:38pm. A reckless driver report came from the 2300 block of S. hwy 183 at 11:08pm and another such report from the same location at 11;15pm.

Sunday’s Blotter showed a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Hwy 281S at 12:02am, a suspicious person report in the 700 block of W. Ave. C at 1:19am, a disturbance in the 1300 block of W. Ave. C at 2:32am and a suspicious act at 5:58am in the 200 block of N. Key.

The afternoon brought a 4:28pm arrest of 41 yr old Joshua Clayton Butler of Lampasas in the 300 block of S. Walnut. He was charged in Burnet Co. warrants for failure to appear on a deadly conduct charge, a possession of a controlled substance charge, a possession of marijuana charge and a charge for the intent to obtain a controlled substance.

At 5:57pm a burglary of a habitation was reported in the 600 block of S. Spring. There was a minor accident reported in the 800 block of N. Key at 6:13pm and a domestic disturbance at 7:03pm in the 800 block of N. Ridge St.

Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa with a theft case, two accidents and a suspicious person. Kempner worked civil matters, an alarm and an animal complaint. Out in the county deputies worked accidents, a runaway incident and over in Copperas Cove there was a prowler case and an alarm.

The jail log shows a 34 yr old Waco man jailed on a commitment case and a 48 yr old Lometa man jailed on a probation violation.

The Burn Ban went back on Sunday, but was lifted again for this week, up to Monday, Oct. 8th at 7pm.
