Lampasas ISD Trustees will meet at 6pm Monday in the Administration Building to go over an agenda that includes the routine reorganization that takes place after each election. A President, Vice President and Secretary will be elected. There is another item on the agenda having to do with the lawsuit filed by Bellpas, Inc., the home and property developer that is attempting to get part of the Lampasas ISD area in the east end of the county turned over to the Copperas Cove ISD.
The item has to do with an appeal of dismissal of the grievance based on failure to timely file.
There will be discussion on resignations and appointments and Supt. Chane Rascoe is expected to present a recommendation for the High School Principal’s position at the meeting. The proposal is expected to be Robert White, a 27 yr educator and recent Principal at McGregor.
Other matters include changes to the stipend schedule and board policies, as well as consideration of the school’s Depository Contract for the upcoming two year period.
