S W A T, the 2017 Summer Conditioning Program for Lampasas ISD students, is ongoing Monday thru Thursday at Lampasas High School for incoming 7th thru 12 grade boys and girls. It runs from 8-10am each day with all athletes in one session but divided into 3 groups of equal ability. Those not already involved may still get in for a tuition fee of $80.  SWAT will continue through July 27th, with the exception of closure for Spring Ho week, July 3 thru 9.

Sports action in Lampasas has slowed down this week but will get back up a bit for next week as the Badger Basketball Youth Camp gets underway on Monday.

The camp kicks off at 9am on the 26th for 1st thru 5th graders, then from 1pm to 4pm for 6th thru 9th graders. Skills training will be in shooting, ball handling, scoring situations, defense and rebounding and more.

The camp will run thru Wednesday, the 28th. It’s $35 for pre-registration but $40 for walk-ups.
