The Rest Of The Week

On Tuesday, Kempner’s City Council will meet at 7pm in Kempner’s City Hall. On their agenda are routine items of accounts payable, citizen communications and setting a date for the next meeting.

Wednesday will see Rollins Brook Community Hospital’s Carter Blood Care bus on site from 10am to 2pm. The drive will take place in the parking lot. For information contact Kathy Long at 512-556-3682. Wednesday evening, top recording artist Junior Gordon will be on the stage for WNL. He will be joined by Abe Mac, and the event will once again be at the Twisted Oak Grill.

News at Noon on Thursday, the Lampasas Chamber of Commerce membership meeting and meal, kicks off at 11:45am and runs to 1pm at the fire station on 4th Street. Featured speakers will focus on changes at Lampasas High. Saturday, June 17th, from 1:30 to 2:30pm, The Gus Club will meet at the Lampasas Public Library Foundation Room with author Susan Mitchell. She will read a story from her Gus the Ghost-Face Dog Series and the children will play games for prizes. (Primarily for ages 7 to 11).
