- Today: A 20% chance of rain is still around today, along with clouds and an 81° high. There could be some S-SE wind gusting as high as 20 mph.
- Tonight: A 30% chance of rain after 1am, otherwise cloudy and down to 66° a S-SE wind 10 mph and gusting occasionally to 20.
- Thursday: That 20% rain chance keeps hanging around in the morning but the clouds may start clearing away in the afternoon and the temperature gets up to 83° with S wind around 5-10 mph.
- Rest of the week: Friday should be sunny and nice but a bit windy. Saturday will be nice without the wind and up to mid 80s and Sunday it will get up to the upper 80s.
Lampasas Police Dept. blotter report shows a criminal trespass in the 800 block of N. Key, a burglary of a habitation in the 300 block of Sunrise Hills and there were several “suspicious” calls. One individual was reported as a public intoxication case and there was a theft reported in the 400 block of CTE. A domestic disturbance came up on the log in the 1100 block of Cloud St. There were several animal complaints but no accidents took place in the city. There were a couple of arrests. At 5:29pm, a 26 yr old Lampasas female was arrested in the
200 block of N. Key for resisting arrest and on a Lampasas PD warrant for possession of a controlled substance under a gram. At 6:44pm, Jesse James Tower , a 31 yr old Lometa man, was arrested in the 400 block of Naruna Rd. on a Burnet Co. warrant for enticing a child.
Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. the jail log shows the arrest of a 36 yr old Shertz woman on an out of county charge.
The Burn Ban is lifted until Sunday, May 13th but on that day the current burn ban order ends anyway.
