Lady Badgers Softball team is back on the practice field, getting ready for the home game with Llano on Friday. That game will start at around 6:30pm. The Lady Badgers are now ranked #24 in state, well below Salado at #12 and Liberty Hill that sits at that well -deserved #1 rank.

Liberty Hill is 8-0, Salado is 6-2, Lampasas is 5-3, Taylor is 5-3 and Llano is 3-5 Burnet is 1- 7 and Leander is 0-8 You can learn more about Lady Badger Softball every Tuesday morning at 8am when Coach Drew and one or more Lady Badgers will be in our studio for the weekly radio show with host Ronnie Witcher.

Badger Baseball is going into its second round of play on Friday at 7:30pm against Llano. Llano is only 1-5 in district play but in the first round game Lampasas was met with tit for tat until late in the game so they are no pushovers. Coach Doege says Levi Geagley will start on the mound and we’ll likely see freshman catcher Hunter Rebando moved into the lineup.

Badger Tennis kicked off its district competition yesterday in Llano with a return today. In the finals today it should be doubles competition with Timothy Cavalieri and Garret McGuire playing Taylor, along with Cassidy Gillis and Nora Lawson. In single Megan Dwamena will play Megan Hunter and Calum Folks will meet a Liberty Hill player.
