Lady Badger Softball heads to Liberty Hill for their last regular season game today. They are
up against the league leading Lady Panthers who are the number 1 team in the state with a 26-1-1 record.

As we go into the finals, the records of the top four teams are
Liberty Hill 11-0

Lampasas 8-3
Taylor 6-5

Taylor plays Llano tonight and Lampasas plays L.H. Tonight’s Lady Badger game will be broadcast live over KCYL Radio with Darrell and Randy, and you can learn more about
Lady Badger Softball every Tuesday morning at 8am when Coach Drew Cleavinger and one or more Lady Badgers will be in our studio for the weekly radio show with host Ronnie Witcher. That’s when we’ll find out about the playoff schedule.

Badger Baseball is headed to Liberty Hill tonight for their matchup with the league leading Panthers. Garrett Witcher will start on the mound and a number of lineup changes are expected for the game.

Here is the way it looks for the district at this point with three regular season games to go.

Liberty Hill 9-0 20-2
Salado 7-3 13-11-1
Lampasas 6-3 16-7
Taylor 5-4 16-6
Burnet 4-6 7-16
Llano 2-8 7-16
Leander 0-9 0-17-1

Lampasas will play Liberty Hill, Taylor and Salado, in that order. Tonight’s game will be played on artificial turf with a little different feel for the players, but there are lots of advantages,
especially in rainfall cases. The game will be broadcast live over KACQ Radio at 101.9FM
and on our live stream. Click on the listen button at lampasasradio.com.

And, we’ll be back again with the Badger Baseball show next Thursday at 8am on Lampasas Radio. Tune in to get the inside info on Badger Baseball.
