Lampasas ISD School Board meets at 6pm on Monday in the courthouse. In addition to a consent agenda, the board will consider the pay and stipend schedule for 2017-18 and they will consider engaging an auditor. Also on the consideration list are the Superintendent’s recommendations for teacher and professional staff engagement.
They will also look at expanding Badger Stadium bleachers and purchasing Chromebooks for the High School. On Wednesday April 5, the LISD Career and Technology Education program (CTE) will be holding a Community Partner meeting at noon at the old Middle School cafeteria. A meal will be served and community business and industry leaders are invited to hear about the new and existing programs available to LHS students.
Also on Wednesday, the AgriLife Extension Service is presenting their Cattlemen’s Spring Clinic at the Lampasas County Farm Bureau Building from 9am to 1pm. Pre-registration for the event was required by March 31st.
Next Saturday, it’s the Hillacious Bike Tour bringing lots of bicycles to Lampasas from around the state.
