The varsity game will be broadcast live over KCYL 1450AM with softball guy Darrell Brooks at the microphone covering the action. Friday, freshman Hunter Rebando got the win over Comfort 16-5 with 7 strikeouts, and Levi Geagley got the win Friday afternoon in a 4-0 shutout against Wimberley. The JV Baseball Team beat Da Valle 10-0 in a crazy game Saturday afternoon that saw the Badgers pick up 10 runs in the first inning and end the game after just one inning. Hayden Hammerschmidt was on the mound with 2 strikeouts that shut out the Da Valle team in the bottom of that first inning. Earlier, Saturday morning, the JV team had lost a close one to Cedar Park. At the end of the third inning the game had been tied 2-2. That carried into the 6th and last inning when Cedar Park scored to get the lead. Lampasas didn’t match it in the bottom of the 6th and lost it 2-3. Ethan Rascoe led the team with 2 RBIs and shared the mound with Jon Davis, pitching 3 innings each. JV Baseball will be at home today against Fredericksburg for a double header. The first game will be at 5pm, the second will follow, probably about 7pm.
