Texans for Property Rights Praises Legislation

The property rights advocates are once again speaking out. They are praising a bill, HB 2684, that has been introduced by State Rep. DeWayne Burns of Cleburne. The legislation is aimed at eminent domain reform, and is proposes to level the playing field for property owners who confront corporations and government entities with deep pockets and skilled legal teams. Eminent Domain seems to be a popular target for legislators in this session with a couple of other Representatives, Trent Ashby of Lufkin, Kyle Kacal of Bryan and Justin Holland of Rockwall also introducing similar bills.
