Badger Baseball comes off its second district win and heads to Burnet this evening for a 7:30pm game against the Bulldogs who have played 3 games and are 1-2 after beating Llano but losing to Salado and Taylor. Lampasas wins were over the cellar dwellers, Llano and Leander. Burnet and Lampasas, in common teams played this year, had very similar scores. So-o Coach Shane Doege and team appear to be cautiously confident as they head to rival Burnet’s ball field.

We fans are all curiously wondering about rain effects as we have seen showers in the area. Coach Doege told us the choices are: play in Burnet today, come back home and play in Lampasas today, or play in one field or the other on Saturday. Levi Geagley will start on the mound this evening and the team is healthy and ready to go. Go Badgers!
