The annual Diamondback Rodeo is taking place this evening at the Lometa Regional Park’s arena.
The rodeo will get underway at 7pm with rough and ready kids in the Mutton Bustin’ event. The event is free of charge for entry so bring your ready, willing and anxious kids.
The rest of the events begin around 7:30pm after the Mutton Bustin’ with riding, roping and rough stock riding. After the Rodeo there’ll be a Rodeo Dance featuring the popular Rivera Brothers Band. The dance should start immediately after the Rodeo and right there on the grounds. Rodeo admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Kids under age 6 get in free. All active duty military with ID card also get free entry – we appreciate our military.
