Badger Baseball made it look easy last night as they beat a young error prone Leander team 14-3 on Badger Field. Garrett Witcher went 4 innings on the mound, giving up one hit but getting 7 strikeouts. His team was in the lead 14-0 after 4 innings when concerns over pitch count eligibility led the coach to pull him off the mound for the last inning. Mason Steel came to the mound and the pitch change, along with several Badger defensive errors, allowed Leander to get 3 runs on the board. Still, the Badgers were ahead by 11 points and that ended the game with the 10 point run rule after 5 innings. Next up for the Badgers is a road game at Burnet on Friday evening. Burnet won their game with Llano last night in a back and forth 7-2 game.
