Little River Academy 8-0.

They’ll play at 11:30am this morning against LBJ-Johnson City. If they win that will be it for the day and they go on to the Championship games on Saturday. If they lose, there’ll be another opponent this afternoon.In Softball action, the Lady Badgers, at La Grange for a tournament started off their day with a shutout win over Hallettesville 4-0. Collyn Schuricht pitched what Coach Drew Cleavinger called “an amazing game, only giving up 3 hits before retiring in the 6th inning.” Cally Reding came in to finish it, allowing no hits.. In their second game of the day, fortunes were reversed for the Lampasas girls as they were shut out by Hendrickson 0-9 with
no hits at all and lots of errors for the girls. It was something the Lampasas girls weren’t used to having happen.

Today it will be Victoria West at 11:30am and powerhouse defending state champions, La Grange, at 3;30pm. After the two games today, they’ll be back again on Saturday for the final
