Louise “Lucy” Wallace, 92 of Lampasas, TX died J anuar y 17, 2017 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Tx. Lucy was born August 24, 1924 in Blooming Grove, TX the daughter of Jasper Eddie James and Laura Belle (Tipping) James. She married Billy J. Wallace and he preceded
her in death December 19, 1990. Lucy was a bookkeeper and secretary for many years. She was a Baptist and enjoyed cross-stitch, painting, cross word puzzles, crafts, Facebook and was an excellent cook. She lived in Killeen from 1953-1984 and had been a Lampasas resident since 1984. Survivors include two sons, Wally Wallace and wife Tammie and Jeff Wallace and wife Leihua; two daughters, Linda James and husband Phillip and Renee Barton; grandchildren Alicia Jenkins, Regina McCall, Tracy Bender, Aaron Barton, Somer Barton, Turner Barton, Joshua Wallace, Caleb Wallace, Zachariah Wallace, Tabitha Wallace, Caleo Davis and Jordan Wallace, along with 14 greatgrandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren. Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sisters, 1 brother and by her greatgranddaughter. Lucy’s body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Sunday January 22nd at 2pm at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be sent to Wreaths for Veterans.

Doris Ann Fox, 87 of Lampasas, TX died Wednesday J anuar y 18, 2017 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. Doris was born January 20, 1929 in Sandy, TX the daughter of Rudolph Henry Sultemeir and Emelia (Hanson) Sultemeir. She grew up in Fredricksburg, TX and moved to Lampasas at age 10. Doris Ann worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone as an operator for 14 years. She married Joe Fox and he preceded her in death. Doris Ann enjoyed crafts, painting and crocheting. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lampasas. Survivors include her daughters, Sandy Holloman and husband Bo and Tammy Pollock; sons, Mike Fox and wife Kay and Winters Fox and wife Nancy; grandchildren Taylor Holloman and Trent Holloman, Zachary Pollock and Justin Pollock, Derek Fox, Jennifer Craig and Logan Fox and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and their wives, O.J. Sultemeir and wife Grace and Warren Sultemeir and wife Ruby and by sister and her husband, Amy
Beck and husband Archie. Also by 2 grandchildren; Jeff and Dewayne Fox. A graveside service will be held Saturday Jan. 21st at 2pm at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
