Lampasas 80th Annual Livestock Show

The Lampasas County Youth Livestock Show kicked off this morning at 7am at the show barn north of town.

Up first for the show was a huge number of rabbits that were being brought in to the barn for display.

The best Senior Doe Rabbit was shown by Tyler Watson. (below)

 Second Place in the Senior Doe Division went to Shiann Judaka Burkett and 3rd to Sydney Lesley.

After rabbits it will be the Food Fair, starting its judging around 1pm and with awards issuing late afternoon. By 6pm it’s predicted the Broiler Chickens will be checking in and the show will get underway. That will close out the day.

On Friday, the big day will begin with Ag Mechanics at 8am and the Swine Show will begin at 9am. The Ag Mechanics awards should be issued around noon and the Market Lambs show will start at 1pm, followed
