Lampasas Police Dept. responded to several animal complaints and a minor accident on Monday. Three arrests were made.
The minor, no injuries, accident took place in the 1700 block of CTE, by Walmart, at 4:40pm.
The first arrest took place at 11:44am in the 800 block of E. 3rd when a 41 yr old man was picked up on two municipal warrants for without a valid license.
In the evening, at 6:38pm, a 33 yr old woman was arrested in the 100 block of EE Ohnmeiss on two warrants for failure to appear and one Sheriff’s warrant for theft of property over $20 and under $500. Later, at 11:48pm, a 23 yr old Copperas Cove man was arrested on the 100 block of E. 2nd St. for possession of marijuana under 2oz.
Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. Several calls mere made on Animal Problems, welfare check, and three medical assist calls. There were two arrests made one capias pro fine and another failure to appear.
Copperas Cove Police report that two of the young men jailed and charged in the 5-man armed robbery of the Action Pawn in Cove on Jan. 3rd are now being charged with the earlier armed robbery of the Family Food Mart on Urbantke Lane in Cove on Jan. 2nd.
The Family Food Mart robbery was a two masked men, gloved and brandishing handguns robbery where the two walked into the store and demanded money at gunpoint. They left through the front door.
