Badger Football fans were treated to a close and hard-fought game last Friday when they lost to Lorena 35-42.

This week the game is on Thursday, when the Badgers go on the road to Canyon Lake for a 7pm game.

As always, the Badger game will be broadcast over KCYL 1450AM, and on the internet and your cell phones at lampasasradio.com. 

The Lometa Hornets (now 2-2) got back on the winning track last week with a 52-7 Homecoming Night pounding over Morgan. This week it will be Summitt Christian Academy.

Badger Cross Country was at the Gatesville Invitational  last Thursday, where the varsity girls finished 1st out of 12 teams.

Up next for the Cross Country is a Thursday meet at 8am at the H.O.T. Soccer Complex in Waco.

Lady Badger Freshman Volleyball  lost on the road at Akins last night, 22-25 (L), 22-25(L). Coach Drew Cleavinger says the girls are showing improvement with each game.

Lampasas Middle School Volleyball 7th and 8th grade teams were in Salado on Monday. The 7th grade A team lost 17-25 (L), and 14-25 (L). 7th grade B team won 25-11(W), 21-25(L), 15-9(W). 8th grade A team lost 25-23(W), 15-25(L), 18-25(L).

8th grade B team also lost 13-25(L), 13-25(L). The teams are hoping for a better outcome next Monday.

Lampasas Middle School Cross Country is in Burnet today,  at Haley Nelson Park starting at 3:30pm.

Lampasas Middle School Football, 7th and 8th grade teams travel to Canyon Lake today with games starting at 4:30pm.

Lampasas Badger Freshman and JV football host Canyon Lake today, starting at 5pm.
