After a summer break, the Lampasas Public Library is gearing up for another season of crafting fun with their “How Pinteresting” class.
This evening from 5-7pm is the first class of the Fall 2016 series, and it will be on tissue paper crafts. They’ll be making some flowers and a "stained glass window".
A $5 donation is requested for the event.
Tomorrow at 10am all Preschoolers are invited for some food fun at the Library, where they’ll enjoy some great stories and a fun treat. Story time will last about 30 minutes.
Tomorrow afternoon from 3-5pm all teens and adults are invited to an Adult Coloring Party at the Library. The event will take place in the Foundation Room, where a selection of coloring sheets will be provided, as well as colored pencils, crayons and markers.
Also, if you or someone you know has difficulty reading standard print material because of visual impairment, the Lampasas Public Library can help.
Recently the Library has received a very generous donation, called a “Freedom Machine,” a desktop magnifier for people with low vision. With this reading machine books, newspapers and more can easily be read. The Freedom Machine is available for use in the Library.
