Lampasas Police Dept. reported 2 accidents on Saturday; one at 2:53pm at Central Texas Expressway and Key Ave., and the other at 10:13pm in the 900 block of S Spring. No injuries were reported at either accident. Three arrests were made Saturday as a 27 yr old Lampasas man was taken into custody at 12:35am in the 800 block of N Key Ave. for DWI and resisting arrest, a 20 yr old Victoria male was arrested at 2:40pm in the 100 block of E 9th St. for possession of drug paraphernalia and of marijuana and a 20 yr old Lampasas male was arrested at 11:16pm in the 1400 block of S Western St. for LSCO warrants for evading arrest detention with vehicle and failure to appear. Sunday’s Police Blotter shows a few animal calls and one accident in the 700 block of S. Key at 3:12 pm. There were 2 arrests on Sunday, a 26 yr old Lampasas man was arrested for unlawful restraint, assault on a family member and some fines. Saturday at 2:47 pm, a 19 yr old Lampasas woman was arrested for Assault.
Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows 28 calls on Saturday, including an assault, a crash and a DWI. Two arrests were made Saturday as a 50 yr old from Lometa was taken into custody for public intoxication of a pedestrian and a 78 yr old Kempner man was arrested for aggravated assault against a public servant. Sunday’s blotter shows 25 calls, with 2 fire calls and a welfare check in Lometa. There was a reckless driver and a crash in Burnet, citizen assist calls in Kempner, and a livestock call in Copperas Cove. Lampasas had several disturbance calls, a few traffic stops, and a welfare check.
