The Blotter

  • Lampasas Police had a total of 48 calls for service yesterday.
  • One minor accident was reported at the intersection of S Key Ave. and Central Texas Expressway at 5:59pm.
  • Two arrests were made. A 27 yr old Lampasas female was taken into custody at 4:56pm in the 10 block of Goldman for abandon endanger child with intent to return and false report to police officer; and a 30 yr old Lampasas man was arrested at 6:38pm in the 100 block of E Central Texas Expressway for a Taylor County warrant for assault.
  • Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. had a total of 18 calls for service yesterday, including a theft and a crash, both in Copperas Cove.
  • No arrests were reported by the Sheriff’s Dept.

The Burn Ban has been lifted in Lampasas County.
