  • Lampasas Police had a total of 39 calls for service yesterday. No accidents were reported, and there was 1 arrest as a 28 yr old Lampasas male was taken into custody at 12:12pm in the 200 block of S Key Ave. for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept.. had a total of 21 calls for service yesterday. No accidents were reported and there was 1 arrest. A 54 yr old Georgetown man was taken into custody on a commitment.
  • The Sheriff’s Dept. has released the name of the suspect that set himself on fire in front of a deputy on Saturday. The suspect is Brian Gavit, 43 of Lampasas.
