Monday Happenings

Lampasas School Board will meet on this evening at 6pm in the LISD Administration Building Board Room at 297 W 8th St., and then at 6:30pm for a budget workshop.
On the agenda are a couple of bids for supplies, a date change for the September meeting to be held on September 12th, a date (8/29/16) for a public hearing on budget and proposed tax rate for 2016-17 and a policy update for Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (TTESS), along with other routine matters.

Red Cross Blood Drive will take place Today at the First Street Church of Christ Fellowship Hall from 12:30 to 6:30pm. Blood supply is low at this time and organizers and Red Cross volunteers are urging the community to participate in the drive by giving if they can.

Democratic Women's Association of Lampasas, will meet Monday
at 6pm @ Schlotzky's to plan the Annual Labor Day Picnic. Newcomers welcome. For info call 512-734-6171.

Central Texas Aggie Mom’s Club will be having their annual Howdy Social tonight at 6:30pm at the Crawford Party Pavilion and Picnic Area at GUYCO on E Hwy 190. Hamburgers, chips, tea, water and dessert will be served.
New Aggies from the surrounding area will be welcomed and current students and graduates will be recognized.

The club includes Lampasas, Kempner, Lometa, Briggs, Oakalla and Copperas Cove.
