Monday Meetings

 Lampasas County Commissioners will meet at 9am in the courthouse. On the agenda are reports and awards for service to the Historical Commission. There will be proposals for security at the Courthouse and Annex from the Guardian Security firm. Also proposed are bid awards for road materials and fuel, a possible change or termination for the county phone service, employee health insurance renewal and the retiree group health insurance, as well as an update on life and dental insurance. Lampasas ISD School Board will meet at 6pm for their regular monthly session.

On the agenda are policy updates, resignations and selections of professional personnel, insurance renewals and calendars. There will also be discussions on the state assessment results and federal program plans for the 2016-17 year.

Lampasas City Council will meet at 5:30pm in an executive session to discuss litigation with Kempner Water Supply before the PUC, then workshop on the City Charter. At 7pm the Council will be in regular session where they'll discuss the proposed plat of the Cottages of Live Oak and some unrelated ordinance changes. They'll discuss leasing a mail processing machine for $165/mo and a possible $14,900 change order on the cost of a foundation and structural analysis of the Nix Water Tank that is to be raised and get a re-do.
