Lampasas County Commissioners met this morning at 9am in the courthouse. The majority of the items on the agenda had to do with county employee pay and benefits. They were to discuss or act on Employee Dental Insurance, Employee Life Insurance, Personnel Policies, an Updated Pay Plan and a Pay Plan Implementation. Other items on the agenda were the regular auditor's financial report, a bid on road materials from Alexander Trucking, appointment of members to the Central Counties Services board, purchasing equipment for the Sheriff's Office and a resolution to use a possible grant to buy some software for the Sheriff's Dept.
Lampasas City Council meets for a workshop and special session at 5:30pm this evening. In executive session they may discuss the Kempner Water Supply litigation and in workshop they are expected to hear the Chamber of Commerce Quarterly Report, discuss Municipal Court case processing, and discuss the FY 2016-17 proposed budget.
In regular session there will be another public hearing on zoning issues, reports, discussion and possible action regarding the appointment of a City Attorney, the Old City Hall proposed Floor Plan, the proposed Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center funding, possible modification to the City Ordinance on Mobile Food Vendors, creating a Mobile Food Vendor Park, and other matters.
