Lampasas County Commissioners will meet at 9am in the courthouse. A big item on the agenda will be to accept the resignation of Sheriff David Whitis and to appoint an interim Sheriff to take his place until the end of his term on Dec. 31st.
Lampasas City Council will meet at 5:30pm in an executive session, discussing developments in the Kempner Water Supply Corp. litigations before the courts and PUC. Possible actions can be taken in open session in this 5:30 to 7pm meeting, then a workshop session will discuss the extension of utilities for residential development and other matters.
At 7pm the Council will be back in regular session with past zoning matters, reports and possible actions on fee schedules and residential development. The Spring Ho Festival committee will be requesting funds and the Utility Department will be asking for approval on bids totaling almost $400,000 for replacement of some water main, a sewer main and a new sewer lift station.
