The 30th Annual Sulphur Creek Car Cruise kicked off today at Brook Park at 8am with custom and antique cars and trucks, and a few sports cars and unique vehicles may have shown up too. Everyone is invited to come by the park and have a look, find their favorites and talk to the owners. The conversation is often, “I had one of these back in ….”, or “What does it cost to restore something like this?”, or “Where in the world did you find this?” The owners are always happy to tell their stories but remember, they work hard to make 'em shine so please avoid getting a lot of fingerprints on that shiny paint and polish. The cars will be in the park until about 4pm this afternoon. They'll have judging and awards to present, door prizes, a burn out competition and a BBQ dinner. Mike White of Advanced Window Tint is running the show. This evening at 8:30pm there'll be a Starry Sky Night Hike. Just show up at the park, pay your admission and go in to the Park Store for information on where to meet for the different get-togethers.
