Fort Hood’s Abrams Center to Get Baylor Game

Baylor men’s basketball head coach Scott Drew and his number 4 rated Bears will face Jackson State at 5pm on Saturday, Dec. 17th in Fort Hood’s Abrams Center.

The game will begin at 5pm in the first-ever matchup of Division I college basketball played at Fort Hood. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest-Plus.

Baylor previously played the first college basketball game on post when they faced Division III Hardin-Simmons last season on Dec. 16, 2015. The Bears won that one 104-59.

The Lady Badgers, in their first district game on Tuesday, lost to the Taylor Ducks 38-50. They’ll be back in district competition on Tuesday, the 13th, against Salado in Badger Gym. The freshmen and JV Lady Badgers are in a tournament in Cherokee today.

The Runnin’ Badgers are in a Hamilton tournament the rest of the week and will begin their district play on the 16th when they head to Llano.

Lampasas Middle School Basketball takes on the Burnet Bulldogs today with the boys on the road and the girls at home.
