With an arctic cold front set to hit the area tonight, by daybreak tomorrow, the low temperatures will be in the 20’s and lower 30’s with wind chill reading in the teens and 20’s.
The Texas Department of Transportation is set to pretreat bridges and overpasses ahead of the wintry blast that could produce some light freezing rain or snow. They say the chances of freezing precipitation is slight, but it doesn’t take much freezing drizzle to make driving a hazard and there is a chance that travel could be impacted.
Highs Thursday are forecast to be in the upper 30’s and with the wind chill figured in it will feel like the teens. So bundle up and stay warm!
