Texas Parks & Wildlifebiologists will be hosting free workshops about wildlife Tax Valuation this winter and spring. You may attend any workshop regardless of the county you live in or where your property is located.
The first workshop will be on January 20 at the Lampasas County Courthouse Annex conference room located at 409 S. Pecan St. in Lampasas. The workshop will start at 8am.
During the workshops, biologists will provide a general overview of the wildlife tax valuation, management plan development, and applicable management practices. At the end of the workshop, biologists will be available to assist land owners with providing management recommendations and developing a wildlife management plan. Land owner’s are encouraged to bring a copy of their wildlife management plan, 1-D-1 application, a map of their property, pictures, and brief descriptions of water sources, vegetation, habitat types and wildlife.
