Copperas Cove Police responded to a reported robbery on Wednesday morning at the Q Star convenience Store located at 301 N. 1st St. Officers were told that a white male approached a customer at the gas pumps and demanded money. A handgun was displayed and an undisclosed amount of money was taken by the suspect. The suspect then got into a white four door car with a temporary license plate parked nearby and fled the scene.
At 9am a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle. During the traffic stop three suspects were identified as participants in the robbery; Brennen Westmoreland, Leroy Brabandt, and Christopher Robinson.
All three were arraigned on Thursday and charged with aggravated robbery. They each received a $100,000 surety bond, and will be held at the Coryell county Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
