The Lampasas Radio Annual Big Buck Contest at Hoffpauir’s Ranch & Supply was Saturday morning and we had a great turnout. The results are as follows:
1st place Free Range Buck: Cloyce McLean (below) of Lampasas , with the deertaken at the Owens Ranch in Lampasas County. Cloyce won a ton of deer corn donated by Hoffpauir’s Ranch & Supply and a free oil change from Hoffpauir GM.
2nd Place Free Range Buck: Richard Grady whose buck was taken at Potts Ranch in Lampasas County, won a cedar chest from Myers Cedar Yard and a free oil change from Hoffpauir GM.
1st place High Fence Buck and 1st place Ladies Buck: Dusti Johns (below) with the deer taken at Crawford Ranch, won a free shoulder mount donated byPulatie Taxidermy and Processing, cast iron skillets from Swain’s Lampasas Hardware, a framed deer mount from Coming Home Furniture and Gifts, two free oil changes from Hoffpauir GM and a $25 dollar gift certificate from Hoffpauir’s Ranch & Supply.
1st place Youth Buck: Ethan Mejias, with the buck taken from the Goodman Ranch in Lampasas County. Ethan won a Yeti Rambler from Ace Hardware, a
round of putt-putt for two from Putters N Gutters, gift certificates from Storms, and Sweet Pickles and a $25 dollar gift certificate from Hoffpauir’s Ranch & Supply.
The Clary Taxidermy First Weekend Big Buck Contest also took place this weekend, with the winners as follows:
Best Buck: Eddie Griffith of Taylor won with his buck and received a free shoulder mount and $300 cash.
Widest Spread: James Felan won this category with a spread of20 3/8”. James won free processing and $100 cash.
Most points: was won by Pepper Isom with his 13 point buck, and he received a $50 gift certificate to Hoffpauir’s Ranch & Supply, and $100 cash.
