  • Today: Sunny with a high near 72°, and W winds at 15-25 gusting as high as 30 mph.
  •  Tonight: Mostly clear with a low near 47°, and SW winds           5-10 mph.
  • Tuesday: Mostly sunny and 72°, SW winds 5-10 mph becoming W-NW in the afternoon
  • Rest of the week: Partly cloudy skies, clearing on Wednesdays with N breezes continuing for the beginning of the week. A strong cold front is expected towards the end of the week.

The Blotter

  • Lampasas Police Dept. Blotter shows a few animal complaints over the weekend, as well as three accidents on Saturday, one in the 1000 block of S. Key at 12:19pm, the 100 block of E. 9th St. at 12:42pm, and at 3rd and Key at 3:34pm. No injuries were reported. There was one arrest on Sunday as a 28 yr old Lampasas man was arrested in the 300 block of N. Arnold for displaying a fictitious motor vehicle registration.
  • Lampasas Sheriff Dept. blotter shows an accident and a shots fired call in Copperas Cove, Kempner had medical calls, a reported abandoned vehicle and a reported disturbance. Out in the county there was a noise complaint, a reported stolen vehicle, an assault, and an attended death. There were several accidents reported on Sunday.
  • The jail log shows one arrest as a 54 yr old Dallas resident was taken into custody for public intoxication of a pedestrian.
