Toy Drive Continues

The Lampasas Fire Dept. Annual Toy Drive continues this week. Ronnie Withers spoke with the Radiogram this morning and said that though they distribute toys up to age 14, they are most in need of toys for infants. (They cannot accept used stuffed animals.) Mr. Withers also said there is always a huge need for diapers and wipes as well, with the newborn sized diapers being in  the largest demand. Cash donations are also much appreciated, as local retailers work with the Fire Dept. on the cost of items that they find a need for as the distribution time nears.

The distribution day is December the 17th at the Fire Department on 4th St. from 7-10am.  As we enter this holiday season, let’s keep those less fortunate in mind.
