Lady Badger Basketball split their games at the Austin Crockett Tournament on Friday. The Lady Badger beat Eastside Memorial 57-18, with the top scorers being Theus with 14 points, and Corbin with 11 points. However, all the girls scored in this game according to Coach Bowden. St. Michael’s bested the Lady Badgers on a squeaker, 32-30, with the top scorers again being Theus with 16 points and Corbin with 6 points.

The ladies are set to play Austin Reagan today at 10:30am, and Del Valle at 2pm.

Next week the ladies are on the road in Fredericksburg on Tuesday the 22nd with Freshmen and JV tipping off at 5:30pm and Varsity at 7pm.

Lampasas Badger Basketball has a busy week coming up starting with the games that were rescheduled for today. The Badger JV will be tipping off at 11am, the Varsity at 12:30. This week the Badgers have two home games back to back.  Monday they host Brownwood with tip-offs beginning at 5:15pm, and on Tuesday the Badgers host the Brady Bulldogs.

The Lometa Hornet Basketball teams both fell Friday night, the boys to Hamilton, 43-55, and the girls lost to Brooksmith 13-31.

Coach Christy Wiley reports that her 7th grade B girls beat Fredericksburg 44-10 on Thursday, hustling after every ball and playing awesome defense. Top three scorers were Rebekah Pearce with 16, Cobie Chandler with 10 and Angelina Cummins with 6. 

The 7th grade A lost a close game 29-30 with Laurcy Bender as high point girl with 21, followed by Allison Bertrand with 4 and Shaylee Wolfe and Kyleigh Ball each adding 2.

The 8th grade B girls lost 9-20 and the 8th grade A won a close one 46-41. Every girl on the team scored but leading were LeAnn Parker with 15, Avery Hamrick with 7 and Taylor Allen had 6.
