Wayne Wilburn Casey, 80, of Lampasas, passed away November 2nd in Lampasas. Mr. Casey was born on February 12, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas to John and Maxine Casey. He married Jean Sweatr in 1954, and later married Dorothy Wyatt. Mr. Casey was a career stone mason, an avid fisherman and pearl diver in the Hill Country Lakes. He enjoyed archaeology and searching for arrowheads and Native American artifacts.
Mr. Casey is survived by his daughter Deborah and husband Johnny Sanders of Lampasas, son Daniel Casey of Killeen. Grandchildren: Sarah Fallen and husband Matthew of Jacksonville, Florida; Emily Salazar and husband Anthony of Ft. Lewis, Washington; Aaron Sanders and wife Julie of Lampasas; and Isaac Sanders and wife Lydia of Maputo, Mozambique. Great Grandchildren: Jaelyn DeLaCruz and Elijah, Jaden, Wesley
and Asher Sanders. Preceded in death by half brother Charles, brother Roy and stepson
David. An informal reception will be held Saturday November 12, 2016 at the Lampasas Fire Station.
