Lampasas Police Dept had 36 calls for service this weekend, including 1 motorist assist, and 1 animal complaint. The Lampasas Police Dept. reported no accidents, but had a total of6 arrests on Saturday:

At 2:07am a 36 yr old Lampasas woman was arrested in the100 block of Ave. D for DWI.

Joseph Sutton, a40 yr old Lampasas man was taken into custody on a warrantfor assault causing bodily injury/family member.  Katrina Monsey, 34, of Lampasas was arrested forassault causing bodily injury/family member. An Austin woman, 32 yrs of age, was jailed for possession of marijuana under 2 ounces. A 21 yr old Lampasas resident was taken into custody in the 100 block of 5th St. on 3 warrants, and a 67 yr old Lampsas man was arrested in the 1300 block of Taylor St. for DWI. On Sunday a 27 yr old woman from California was jailed for possession of marijuana under 2 ounces.

 Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter on Saturday shows a theft in Lometa, and a medical call and a burglary in Copperas Cove. Kempner on Saturday had a few animal calls and traffic stops, a reported assault, a medical call and a report of suspicious activity. Out in the county on Saturday there were a few traffic stops, a call about a reckless driver, a few reports of disturbances and a reported animal bite.

Sunday's blotter shows a reported disturbance, and a lost/found property call in Copperas Cove. Kempner on Sunday had a medical call, a few reports of suspicious activity, and a request for extra patrol. Out in the county on Sunday, there were numerous traffic stops, a harrassment call and a missing person report.

The jail log shows 4 arrests on Saturday. A 42 yr old Lampasas woman was arrested for DWI, and a 34 yr old Copperas Cove resident was taken into custody for display of a fictious license plate and driving while license invalid w/ previous convictions. A 43 yr old Lampasas man and a 37 yr old Lampasas woman were jailed for public intoxication of a pedestrian.

The Burn Ban in Lampasas County is lifted until Oct. 11th
