Lampasas Badger Football, enjoying the extra week of preparation offered by this week's open date, is getting ready for their October 7 meeting with the Gatesville Hornets in Gatesville.                                                                                   

The Lometa Hornets won on the road last night as they beat the Siney Eagles 54-8. Lometa plays another non-conference game on the road at Blanket on Friday October 7 at 7:30pm

Lady Badger Volleyball played Liberty Hill at home Friday at home and as Coach Denise Ponder stated that they “showed Liberty Hill that we weren’t going to let them come in and roll us over”. The Lady Badgers timing was on and they slowed the ball down several times. The team is starting the 2nd round and look forward to putting it all together. The scores and leaders were:  25-15 (L), 25-10 (L), 25-8 (L).

Lady Badger Freshman Volleyball went toe to toe with Liberty Hill, and Coach Drew Cleavinger said she is “so proud of their hustle, hear and how far we have come from day one”!
