Acoustic Concert Series
Upcoming Free Concerts
Don't miss Lampasas Radio's Free Up Close and Personal Free Acoustic Series from 7-9pm every Wednesday night at the AmVets Hall in Lampasas.
Steve Helms will be featured on February 24th. You may remember the Cleburne musician through his hit single "Between You and Me". The band's self-titled CD features other radio hits, including "Lyin' Here", "What's It Gonna Take" and "Nowhere But Texas".
Upcoming concerts include:
Jerry Audley & Jerrod Medulla -- March 3rd
Pat Waters & Stephanie Urbina Jones -- March 10th
While the shows are free, you might catch up on buying merchandise from the artists, including great CD's, t-shirts and other memoribilia.
We got the blues too!
Music tonight!
Joining JD on stage will be fellow vocalist Richard Sutton and an additional lead guitarist from the band.
Coming up?
Next Wednesday we’ll have a couple of the pro’s from the Texas music industry on stage as Pauline Reese and Django Walker grace our free acoustic stage show. Then, on Saturday, Feb. 6th, what we consider one of the hottest bands on the Texas scene will be at Amvets for a dance. The Tejas Brothers will be here. For those than haven’t picked up on the name yet, they’re the harmonizing new group that has the accordion, stand-up bass, “Texas Tornadoes/Freddy Fender” sound, and their big radio single is a beautiful thing that wails out “Love me or leave me alone.”
Tickets are now on sale for the show at Amvets and at Lampasas Radio. Seating is limited and those who want tickets and a table should probably get them now--$10 each for a refreshingly different band and sound.

Great Show Wednesday Night!
This week's Wednesday night Up Close and Personal Concert will feature the Manning-Dickson duo and Brad Hines.
The Manning-Dickson duo's current hit single is "As Cold As Her Heart". They are greatly influenced by country, Texas swing and red dirt music.
You may remember Brad Hines from a few weeks ago when he stopped by the AmVets Hall. He's the "Unofficial Mayor of the Fort Worth Stockyards" and has a lot of great hits influenced by country, rock and a little bit of blues.
