Senior Night for Lady Badgers

Blood, sweat, and tears have been left on the court for the their last four years. It was an emotional night last night for the Lady Badger basketball team as they took on Eastside Memorial for their last game in the Lampasas High school gym.

During a quick interview after the game seniors; Paige Linney, Kamri Corbin, Diane Hurst, Jelecia Magee-Hodges, Paige Yancy, and Brenda Lowery expressed how they have seen the seniors before them go through what they are feeling now and how they finally understand the bittersweet feeling.

When asked how the team handles high stress situations, Hurst was quick to say, “Pull from teammates.” Almost as if to finish her sentence Magee-Hodges added, “The team just has to come together for one play.”.

The last question of the night was if the seniors had any advice for the upcoming girls. Corbin praised about head Coach Myers by stating, “Listen to Coach Myers. He has helped us so much this season and really does know what he is talking about.”
